ecos depot – Functional locker facilities

ecos depot locker facilities manage working materials and objects of all types and perform verification functions. The availability of important working devices like cellular phones or laptops can be detected at all times through an electronic content verification system.

You register and record electronically, the removal and return of documents, data carriers and small parts like keys, cellular phones or tools.

The lockers can be optionally fitted with a charging device, which facilitates the charging of electronic devices in the state of quiescence.

ecos depot organizes operative working processes in an efficient and cost-effective manner.

System components

• Control unit with integrated system board (processor), keyboard, LCD display and personal identification method, PIN code, non-contacting card reader or also biometric methods (fingerprint, palm recognition).
   
• Lockers with 3 mm strong, deeply enclosed steel door or transparent polycarbonate door and internal plug contact for the electronic monitoring of the status of occupancy.
   
• Management program based on Microsoft.net development environment and a Microsoft SQL database.

Mode of function

• The content (e.g. documents, cellular phones, CDs up until notebooks or small parts) is closed by a solid steel door and thus protected from unauthorized access. The polycarbonate door is mounted on a stable steel frame and enables on-the-spot visual verification.
   
• A personalized access authorization system facilitates the opening of the respective lockers. This is realized either through the integrated keyboard using secret number and/or ID card or biometric identification characteristics.
   
• Only identified and authorized persons will thus be able to open the lockers. All actions are permanently registered and recorded in the database.
