Control the Closing of Ascending Gates!

Nearly fifteen years ago the outdoor gate closer DIREKT was sold for the first time and by now has established itself as a safe and reliable closing system for outdoor gates, e.g. admission gates to kinder gardens, industrial plants, housing estates etc. As the standards became higher over the years, there were new developments and improvements. DIREKT II – very easy adjusting of the closing speed

One of the significant changes is the regulation of the closing speed. In the past you needed an Allen key. Now you just have to turn a thumb wheel. The modified construction offers a larger and more precise range of adjusting the closing speed.

DIREKT II – also a door holder

Thanks to the thumb wheel it is possible to block the DIREKT in any position. The gate stays open – without need of an additional device. This helps a lot when you have to pass through the gate several times, e.g. to carry tree-cut from the garden to the trailer parked in the street.

DIREKT II – braves adverse weather

In the future all zinc-plated versions of the DIREKT will by default be delivered with an additional grey plastic cover – as this has already been the case with the black and white versions. This increases once again the protection against atmospheric influences and the operational life.

DIREKT II – now also of AISI 316

From now on the DIREKT II is also available of AISI 316 stainless steel. So now you can also use it in aggressive, chloride surroundings (saline air), as e.g. in coastal areas, on ships, in swimming pools or the chemical industry.

The gate closer DIREKT also makes sure gates with ascending hinges close safely and without noise. The closing speed can continuously be adjusted by means of a regulating ring.
