GfS, a specialist for security devices at emergency exit doors, developed an unique and elegant push bar, which integrates the control function for the emergency exits. An European Patent for the GfS e-Bar® is pending. The e-Bar® assures a fast and trouble-free opening as well as the permanent supervision of the panic door.

The eye-catching illumination of the e-Bar® (red/green display “Emergency Exit Secured”) and its mounting at half-height of the door enable people to find the emergency exit easily and quickly even in case of a strong production of smoke. While pressing against the e-Bar® a visual and acoustic alarm is activated indicating the possibility of an abusive use of the panic door. The e-Bar® offers two alarm levels: pre-alarm and permanent alarm.
