Thin Client solution with Open HMI operating systems

The newly launched Open HMI series of R. STAHL HMI Systems is also suitable for Thin Client solutions, where many operator stations have remote access to one server. For this, the Open HMI devices are connected to a server, which, for example, is running Windows Server 2003, via an Ethernet network. At this server, the individual operator stations have access to their allocated virtual work stations. The Open HMI devices with an open operating system are supplied with factory configuration and all required interfaces (such as USB and serial). Also part of the delivery is the software for the server configuration. Open HMI operating systems are suitable for installation in hazardous zones 1, 2, 21 and 22 and for ambient temperatures from –10°C to +50°C. The series consists of three different models with a graded range of features: the ET-406 (with 10" touchscreen display and keyboard), the ET-416 (10" touchscreen display and function keys) and the ET-436 (15" touchscreen display and function keys).
