Conforming to European Norms but nevertheless extremely flexible

Doors are an undeniable necessity. Nevertheless, the European Normalisation system classifies them as potentially dangerous to users. In order to comply with EN 12453, the safety standard for powered doors, a large number of requirements have to be met for pedestrian use. The requirements of EN12453 place a heavy physical load upon the door installation, especially the door operator.

DICTATOR has taken up this challenge and developed a completely new range of operators to meet EN12453. We have named them the new DICTAMAT AC-21 door operator series. These door operators minimise the physical loadings to the track and running gear, without abandoning flexibility and high levels of adaptability. Doors are installed for different reasons. For example, a door might simply divide one room from another. However, modern production plants often require doors that meet many different requirements, sound absorption, containment of harmful electrical waves etc.

DICTATOR offers door operators that fulfil many requirements. For each application a customized solution is created. Which includes a basic concept, drawings and data, assistance during installation, or the option to have DICTATOR provide part installation and maintenance.
