Sun- and UV-protection, glare shields, blinds, splinter shields: HAVERKAMP has developed a complete range of products for consisting of various types of films and blinds.

As HAVERKAMP GmbH produces the films itself, there is an availability of custom-made solutions based on relatively low quantities, which in turn allows us to combine practically any of the desired properties needed. For example, just one OPALFILM^® film providing both major features of screening and sun protection.

OPALFILM^® Anti-Vandalism - Scratch and graffiti protection

Shop windows, bus stops, buses and railroads, as well as showcases, are effectively protected against attack by scratching with stones and/or spray attacks or similar and other types of soiling (e.g. Edding markers and spray paints). OPALFILM^® Anti-Vandalism-film provides a combined protection against scratch and spray attacks. They are almost transparent and so cannot be seen on the glass surface. The simple replacement of the film saves the high-cost replacement of the glass.

Anti-Shatter Film

OPALFILM^® anti-shatter films stabilise panes of glass and provide protection against flying splinters in the event of breakage. The polyester film has a thickness of between 115 μ and 190 μ, giving the glass properties similar to those of laminated safety glass, and therefore high resiting power against breakage. Even if the glass cracks or shatters it is held in place by the film. The Materials Testing Agency (MPA) of the German State of North Rhine-Westphalia has certified the film as complying with DIN Standard 52337. OPALFILM^® anti-shatter films have a scratch-resistant surface and virtually provide invisible safety. They also reduce incoming UV radiation by up to 98%. Depending on requirements, the films can also be provided with additional properties such as sun, glare and/or privacy protection to create an integrated concept.

Privacy Protection Films

Glass is not just a building material, but also a symbol for transparency, openness and publicity. But transparency of this kind is not always appropriate. Bathrooms and the windows in medical facilities, for example, need protection from prying eyes, while at the same time letting in light. With OPALFILM^® privacy protection films, visibility through the glass can, if desired, be restricted by up to 100%. OPALFILM^® privacy protection films can be applied to all glass surfaces. The OPALFILM^® product range includes films that can be applied to all or part of the pane and are available in a choice of colours. Employed as a visual design feature, OPALFILM^® privacy protection films can be used in offices, homes, exhibition rooms, fair stands, display cases and in other places.

Decor and Ornamental Film

Decor and ornamental films generate a special design effect, and are ideal for upgrading glass partition walls, display cases and doors. They enhance the appearance of architectural features such as partition walls and doors, and are also suitable for room dividers. OPALFILM^® ornamental and decor films can be applied wherever there is a need for privacy protection. They give glass a distinctive appearance and structure. The films are available in a range of colours and patterns, offering a design to meet every requirement.
