New Generation of Storage Capacity
German based company videte IT will be presenting its idip video surveillance and security management system with a storage capacity of one terabyte. idip is a fully configurable, and extremely flexible, it can be programmed to meet the needs of virually all security based projects. With the enlarged storage capacity videte IT reacted to the increasing customer demand for long recording times,
particularly for projects with a high frame rates in the remote
monitoring sectors.
This development assures once again the idip as a flexible system that could be configured to meet the specific needs of individual projects. In its function as a digital video surveillance system, idip displays, records and plays back live images from up to 32 cameras. It allows multiple live and archived images to be viewed concurrently on one monitor. Additional highlights of the high-end system are an intuitive GUI, excellent image quality, user-friendly search and archiving functions plus integrated motion detection for event-driven recording on all cameras.
As a security management system, idip supervises all the connected external signalling and control equipment: from glassbreak sensors and smoke alarms to access control and different types of measuring equipment. Idip manages not only the control systems linked to it but also specific reactions such as emergency call, production halt, switching on lighting or sending a text message to the employee responsible on a single graphical user interface.
