The Femto3D-AO high-speed 3D scanning two-photon microscope has been developed for life science applications and scans a million times faster than other solutions.
The instrument features continuous and flexible scanning modes in 3D, providing arbitrary access point scanning and multiple trajectory scanning. There are also tilted and ultra-fast scanning modes available which help to capture sub-millisecond events. The acousto-optic techniques employed provide a highly-defined in vivo scanning volume of 700 μm x 700 μm x 1400 μm at 30- 50 kHz and provide analysts with a tool for 3D data set analysis.
There is automatic cell detection available as well as semi-automatic correction of any sample movement, enabling more than 2,000 cells to be recorded simultaneously.
