SCASSI, the nurse assistant

The nurse assistant SCASSI is the first combi monitor, which has been developed in three different versions, especially for the daily routine tasks of the nursing staff. Among other things this handy device is used in the oncology or endoscopy, after smaller operations, during the stage of rest and recovery or also in the case of compulsory supervision of administering drugs. Moreover the monitor is indispensable for in hospital supervision of critical patients and their transfer.

The SCASSI's patient supervision, with adjustable upper and lower alarm limits, cuffs, alarms for power and battery supply failure, can be done acoustically corresponding to the different sound signals, or by the system for nurse calling. The intervals of the automatic pulse and blood pressure measurement are adjustable from 1-60 minutes. The latest measured values are stored for control and shown at the display, also in case of a power supply failure. When the unit is used for another patient the storage can be easily deleted. At bedside (power supply) or in the mobile area (battery supply) the SCASSI provides a continuous patient supervision by a hang in appliance with a chassis. Of course, the stored measured data can also be printed by an integrated printer.
