Low Power Data Logger in the telecontrol system

The Low Power Data Logger is part of the comprehensive tele control system family. It offers different archives, in which the local data (binary, analog, namur) can be filed even in sleep mode. At parametrizable times or special, local events the archives are transmitted to the SCADA system or the corresponding master.

The main features are, that telecontrol systems with up to 32 participants can be set-up including the low power data logger, and additionally the telecontrol network can make use of all the advantages of a decentral, local data storage. Features like low power consumption combined with the ability to record the underlying process data even in sleep mode have not been realized so far.

Application benefits:

  • decentral data recording powered by low-cost batteries
  • cost-efficient but comprehensive process data recording via decentral archiving and only short-term use of fee-required data transmission medias (e. g. GSM, dial-up line)
  • modular expandable by I / O-devices
