IDExpert CMS is a web-based, open-architecture solution for the personalization and management of multi-functional company ID cards, student cards, health cards, national ID cards and passports. It is a flexible, scalable and customizable system designed to manage large populations of credentials, including chip-based cards.
In the workplace, IDExpert CMS is a workflow-orientated business tool. It empowers employee ID cards for access control and time & attendence applications, to pay at the canteen, refuel vehicles, access lockers and parking facilities, logon to computers and networks, and digitally sign documents. The system can also manage biometric data and PKI-based certificates, as well as artificial ID credentials, or “soft certificates” – certificates not stored directly on the card.
The web-based design enables authorized staff to securely access IDExpert CMS via a web-browser from anywhere in the world. This allows the security officers or system administrators to easily manage applications and update card status. Credentials can be created for new recruits and adapted with an employee’s new status, and lost cards or cards belonging to former staff can be invalidated.
