Basler expands their IP camera portfolio with high-quality fixed dome camera models. The first dome cameras will be available in February 2010. The following camera models will be equipped with dome housings: BIP-D1000c-dn with a resolution of 1024 x 768 pixels and BIP-D1300c-dn with a resolution of 1280 x 960 pixels.
Basler IP fixed dome cameras have vandal-resistant aluminum housings, allowing video surveillance applications outdoors and under tough indoor conditions. With their built-in heater and fan, Basler IP cameras work at extreme operating temperatures from -20° C to +50° C (-4° F to +122° F).
To store surveillance data even when the network connection has been broken, Basler IP fixed dome cameras are equipped with a built-in SD card slot for local file storage.
