Safety Feels Good!

At this year's Powtech, Schenck Process presents its MULTIGRAV® multi-station feed system comprising up to eight modules. The system is designed for flexible adjustment to the most diverse feeding requirements of the plastics and chemical industries.

MULTIGRAV® in action

So as the need grows, so can the MULTIGRAV® multi-station feed system. But this is all mere theory. Therefore, you are welcome to see MULTIGRAV® in action:

At the Fair we will demonstrate a continuous gravimetric granulate feeding process with a possible setting range of the feed rate of 1:80 and highest feed accuracy and constancy.

Come to experience how the granules are fed into the process via a vibro feeder

The system module, consisting of the scale hopper and the vibro feeder, is connected in an statically balanced way to an environmentally protected scale module. Each system module operates according to the loss-in-weight principle, with a controlled loss in weight per time unit.

For the formation of a mixed, the vibro feeders convey the material into a blending vessel specially equipped for optimum blending quality of the various materials to be mixed. Depending on requirements, the blending vessel can also be used as buffer for the downstream process.

Variants with a system

Every job is different. Hence, the MULTIGRAV® can be connected to a mounting bracket for single feeding, For the formation of mixtures you can group, e.g. two to eight system modules around the central blending vessel on a joint bracket, which can be equipped with the weighing module.

System variants can be adjusted to requirements and the site conditions, so that the extremely rugged system also fits even limited floor space. Another plus: the mounting bracket, protected against heat from below, is always readily accessible.

Convincing advantages

  • High feed accuracy and constancy (better than +/- 0.5%)
  • Optimal accuracy over a large setting range
  • Nominal feed rate per system module from 0.3 to 400 kg/hr
  • Reduced cabling through MechaTronic instal-lation
  • Compact design, space-saving mounting
  • Easy access, fast and easy cleaning
  • Virtually maintenance-free
  • Low investment costs
