Aspirating smoke detectors offer highest detection reliability

The Aspirating Smoke Detectors FDA221 and FDA241 can differentiate between smoke, steam and dust. They are suitable for environmental challenging conditions and high sensitive areas.

Aspirating smoke detectors continually draw samples of air from the areas requiring protection and evaluate these samples. For conventional systems it’s quite difficult to differentiate between deceptive phenomena and smoke and therefore they are susceptible for false alarms. This problem is solved by our new Aspirating Smoke Detectors: They are using the optical dual-wavelength-detection. With these two light-wavelengths – blue and infrared – they are able to detect the particle-size and -concentration and differentiate between smoke and dust.
