Dry Measurement Platform with 125 μm Scan Range @ 1.5 K

Attocube offers the perfect alternative to liquid cryostats with the closed-cycle low temperature measurement platform attoDRY LAB. Based on pulse tube coolers, the corresponding attoDRY cryostats feature fast cool down times, fully automated temperature control, excellent temperature stability and unusually silent operation.

The attoDRY2100 combines a continuous base temperature of 1.5 K with an unrivalled low level of vibrations for dry systems and a substantial increase of the scan rage to 125 µm. In particular for highly sensitive measurement methods such as scanning probe microscopy, this opens up a whole new variety of applications: in fact, the combination with the attoAFM/MFM recently allowed for the first measurement of the elusive quantum objects called skyrmions in a dry cryostat.
