Transponder-coded safety switch with an AR interface for series connection of up to 20 devices

The smallest transponder-coded safety switch CES-C04 from EUCHNER is now available with an AR interface for series connection of up to 20 devices.

Connecting several safety switches in series has proven to be an economical solution, particularly for larger machines and installations requiring protection of several safety doors. In addition to the safety switch CES-AR-C04, all other EUCHNER devices with an AR interface can be connected in series.

Wiring takes place either directly in the control cabinet or via M12 plug connectors and Y-distributors. EUCHNER additionally offers the CES-AR evaluation unit for polling the door position of all protected safety guards. This information is forwarded directly to the evaluation unit, without additional wiring work. A signal indication can be realized by connecting all semiconductor outputs to a higher level control system.

Like all safety switches from the series CES-C04, the CES-AR-C04 also features OSSD outputs and two LED indicators that are easily legible in any installation position. The integrated LED limit-range indicator allows misalignment of the safety guard to be recognized in good time. The compact housing and variable approach and mounting options permit maximum flexibility for design. The transponder coding provides perfect protection against tampering and ensures PL e / Category 4 in accordance with the EN ISO 13849 standard.
