Xiril and the Pipetting Robot Neon realize your OEM Liquid Handling Automation project – the way you need it

Your Liquid Handling Partner for OEM solutions
Are you looking for proven pipetting hardware and software to build your automated liquid handling solution? Do you need a competent partner to support you in your liquid handling project?

Then we offer the ideal solution for you:
Xiril Liquid Handling Robots are ideally suited to transfer a large number of pipetting task into automated processes, e.g. nucleic acid purifications or PCR-setups are easily automatable.

The proven pipetting robot Neon is available with 20 or up to 36 positions on the worktable – with one or two robotic arms. 2 to 8 pipetting channels per arm or even a 96-Channel Head for high throughput applications
enable the realisation of various liquid handling applications:

  • Modularity – options can be added as required and the worktable can be setup individually
  • Flexibility – the Neon robot is kit independent and configurable to your kits and reagents.
  • Open Software lirix – supports the even most challenging pipetting applications.
  • Stand alone system or integrated workstation – as part of a customised lab automation solution.
  • Proven technology – developed and produced in Switzerland.
  • Expert service – Liquid handling specialists accompany your project from planning and specification definition to serial production

The basic instrument Neon100 is now also available with a hood, providing an enclosed working environment. The hood offers a UV lamp for decontamination of the worktable as a standard, as well as internal lighting for optimal visibility when loading the workstation.

To decide for the Neon with Hood means to profit from the following features:

  • Reduced risk of injury! Safe operation for the user. No manual interruptions are possible while a process is running.
  • All processes are safe at any time – the instrument pauses upon opening of the door and seamlessly restarts the last process when closing.
  • The enclosed Tip Chute Waste reduces cross contamination – the tips slide directly into the closed waste bag.
  • Full control anytime – the LED light on the front door shows the status of the instrument.
  • Protection for users and samples (cross contamination): an optional set of HEPA filter and ventilation is available for additional decontamination of the air flow.

For the Neon – with or without Hood – comprehensive accessory is available to meet all your liquid handling needs, e.g. a Thermo-ShakeX ELM for heating and shaking of microplates, the Tube-ScanX LR for seamless reading of barcodes on sample tubes or the SPE Station for automated vacuum extraction. Various adapters and racks can be arranged on the platform to adapt the robot to your individual requirements.

Configure your Neon robot to fulfil your needs – as an open workstation, or with a hood; with one or two robotic arms and which accessory to add is up to you to decide.

Profit not only from the above listed standard- and safety features of the Neon, but also from the support of your liquid handling OEM project by Xiril’s expertise.
