Precision 2000 – Automated Microplate Pipetting System

BIO-TEK Instruments’ product entry into the liquid handling system’s market, is a combination dispenser, dilutor, and pipettor. Virtually a multi-channel pipette attached to a robot, Precision 2000 carries out almost any liquid transfer protocol. Reagent addition, serial dilutions, and plate-to-plate transfers are made easy with Precision 2000’s user configurable multi-position work surface and intuitive software.
Up to 80 program files can be stored onboard for instant recall. Precision Power PC Software expands the instrument’s dynamic pipetting capabilities in a familiar Microsoft Windows format. Precision 2000 eliminates the repetitive motion injuries associated with manual pipetting. An optional manifold allows for a rapid, continuous reagent dispense mode. The Precision 2000 accomodates both 96- and 384-well microplates without hardware modifications. A small footprint makes it ideal for installation in a biological safety cabinet or chemical fume hood.
