StreamLine Plus Sets the Standard for Fast Chemical Imaging

There is a market requirement for ever-faster chemical imaging systems; to meet this need Renishaw has developed Streamline Plus for its inVia Raman microscope, creating the fastest fully-scaleable Raman imaging system.

The combination of line focus illumination, a high-speed encoded stage, and synchronised readout of the CCD detector, enables images to be collected both rapidly and at variable spatial resolution. For the first time, it is possible to gain a full chemical image of an entire pharmaceutical tablet (consisting of several thousand spectra) in less than 4 minutes.

With StreamLine Plus customers from fields such as pharmaceuticals, forensic sciences, and medicine can achieve a higher sample throughput and therefore reduce their costs.
