The functions to be delivered by line cameras became more and more complex in the face of higher conveyor speeds, line frequencies and the multiplication of ever smaller pixels. This, consequently, increased the need for high-quality light sources. State-of-the-art LED technology is opening new ways which have been realised with LINE SPECT. To generate the required quantity of light, traditional HMI lamps with fibre optic lightlines are now being replaced by LINE SPECT.

The Laser 2000 LINE SPECT illumination unit creates a very bright, evenly distributed and broad line of light. 36 LED’s per module provide a high intensity
light. An integrated cylindrical lens focuses the light onto a homogeneous line on the inspected material.

The LINE SPECT illumination convinces by its innovative concept that is unmatched in the market. By the modular set-up, a wide range of available
illumination lengths, the flexible power supply and cooling systems the LINE SPECT guarantees an optimum performance for each individual situation and requirement. This illumination is used in both, transmission and reflection modes. All components are integrated into a rugged, industrial quality enclosure.
