The new thumbturn electronic cylinder from Salto Systems offers a stylish and ultra-modern access control solution for use on doors where the fitting of a conventional electronic handset is not always possible. The new electronic cylinder offers easy offline installation on all types of doors, and when networked via the Salto Virtual Network control system, can eliminate the problems associated with key control. It can work with the majority of European lock types including Europrofile and Swiss Round cylinders locks and its anti-panic facility means it can always be opened from the inside no matter what the situation. Power is supplied by a single one-piece CR123A battery which provides 30,000 openings when used with RFID access media or 60,000 openings when used with an iButton.
