Micro-Contact Printing System

Cell behavior, e.g. differentiation, is also affected by the natural environment of the cell and it’s contact with external surfaces. The Micro-Contact Printing System µ-CP2.1 combines silicon and PDMS microtechnology for preparation of appropriated surfaces. Up to four PDMS stamps transfer different bio molecules (DNA, proteins, functionalized beads, nano particles, bacteria, vital cells) onto a slide-sized substrate. It is aligned by a precision XY-stage. Therefore concentration gradients as well as patterns of different substances are feasibly. The system comes with a Casting Station for stamp manufacturing. The usable area is 10x10mm2. Humidificatrion for µ-CP2.1 is available.
