A new microcentrifuge tube with an innovative opening mechanism

Years of working with microcentrifuge tubes have passed without any significant progress in the design of these vessels. Now here comes FlipTube - a sensation for the lab disposable area! Using this product, lab personnel can profit from better usability and more safety.

Commonly known vessels are opened by pressing the lid up with the thumb. However, this way of opening has two major drawbacks: it is merely impossible doing so with just one hand and the finger mostly touches and thus contaminates the liquid inside of the tube. FlipTubes can be opened by pressing down the lid, which is attached on the side of the hinge.

This small change as a big effect: On one hand, the fingers never come into contact with the liquid. On the other hand, broken fingernails are a thing of the past.
