ACHEMA Highlight: CSN® Flange Heaters

CSN® flange heaters are manufactured with highly compressed tubular heating elements of diameters 8,5 mm, 11,5 mm and 16 mm.
They are preferably employed where process heat is generated electrically.

Typical fields of application are the chemical industry, the shipbuilding industry, the plastics industry and heat transfer engineering.

CSN® flange heaters guarantee a long product life due to the use of process-optimized tubular heating elements sealed with the *Giso* process.

CSN® flange heaters are perfectly suited for liquid mediums such as water, various oils, alkaline solutions etc. as well as for gases (air, nitrogen, flue gases).

They stand out for their high efficiency (direct heating of the medium) and for their minimal maintenance costs .

CSN® flange heaters can be supplied up to NW 600.

Major advantages:

• excellent corrosion resistance due to materials and tubular heating element diameters individually selected to fit the specified process
• outstanding insulation properties due the application of the Giso process

Variants:

• highly compressed, u-shaped CSN tubular heating elements are welded into flanges up to DN 600, hard soldered or mounted exchangeable
• CSN flow heaters are supplied with the Pressure Equipment Directive 97/23/EC certificate, if required
• On request, the CSN® tubular heating elements , having tube diameters of 8,5 mm, 11,5 mm or 16 mm, are closed according to the *Giso* process, providing insulation resistance>in the Gigaohm< range for each tubular heating element. Various stainless steel materials are available for a variety of medium requirements.
• we realise heating performances up to the megawatt range following customer specifications
•  Thermoelements, PT 100 or mechanical control units and temperature limiters are available for precise temperature monitoring
• the connection method and the number of stages depends on the individual wishes of the customer
