Customised belt drying systems

Heinen Drying delivers customised belt drying systems for the pharmaceutical, chemical and food industry used for drying, cooling and conditioning processes. The tailored belt dryer execution is possible in single belt, multiple belt, multiple stage and pultiple storey design, leak-tight execution, is made of stainless steel and corresponds to the GMP-regulations. All systems are tailored to the products and customers requirements, optionally it is possible to operate the system under high temperature up to approx. 300°C, whereby this special dryer-type can be heated internally as well as externally with gas.

The special execution for the pharmaceutical industry is used for the continuous drying and conditioning of temperature sensitive hard gelatin capsules containing active ingredients. In close cooperation between Heinen and the pharmaceutical producer the plant was designed to meet the requirements of such temperature sensible capsules. The system (including control) was qualified in close co-operation with the customer and prepared for validation and final approval by FDA.
