The Spectra PowerBox disposes of an expertly engineered cooling concept. Being primarily cooled by a self-developed heat pipe, this enables it to work without a fan up to reaching a predefined temperature threshold. A slow revolving large-volume fan subsequently switches on automatically. As a result of this, there is a continuously low temperature inside the chassis. The MTBF (mean time between failures) of the system is thereby considerably increased. A near soundless operation is guaranteed. The heart of the Spectra PowerBox is always a mini- ITX mainboard. These boards, with the standard measurement of 170 x 170 mm, are compatible with nearly all of the common processor types and have awide variety of configurable ports. New boards are being consistently developed in this category, so that boards with the latest technology can always be utilized as computer engine for the Spectra PowerBox.
