20 Years Positioning Static Displays

Lektro, manufacturers of towbarless electric aircraft towing vehicles, is celebrating 20 years of assisting the National Business Aviation Association (USA) with the set up and dismantling of aircraft static displays at the associations trade shows. The first such help was provided in 1986 when the company sent two tugs to the NBAA convention static display in Long Beach, California. This year, 1012 towbarless tugs will be sent to the NBAA's 59th Annual Meeting & Convention 1719 October at Orlando Executive Airport in Florida. As it did in 2005, Lektro's team of operators will work with the highly professional Showalter Flying Service team, the host of this year's Static Display. The teams have worked together at many NBAA events and have fine-tuned the positioning of static display aircraft. At the companys factory in Warrenton, Oregon the company manufactures nine models of towbarless aircraft tugs, ranging in towing capacity from 28,000180,000 lbs. As a testament to the reliability and durability of Lektro vehicles, they can be found in operation on nearly every continent around the globe. For those visiting the NBAA convention this year, the company will be at booth 5488.
