Morada – 11 Mega-Pixel TEM Camera

The side-mounted 11 MegaPixel TEM CCD camera Morada consists of a high-yield, lens optically-coupled phosphorous screen, a specially designed prism to reflect the image onto the CCD sensor, as well as hous housing and a flange specific to each TEM. The interline transfer chip with electronic shutter offers extremely short exposure times of as little as 1 ms and as long as 60 s for acquisition with both intense illumination and images with very low intensity. Sensitivity can be increased even more using the camera's 2x, 4x and 8x binning modes. Frame rates of up to 10 f/s in partial read-out mode and a pixel clock of 24 MHz are supported. Morada is integrated with iTEM, Soft Imaging System's TEM imaging platform.
