Intelligent camera platform D3 by VRmagic was designed with usability, flexibility, and performance in mind. The D3 features a 1 GHz ARM Cortex-A8 Core with floating point unit running Linux and a 700 MHz C674x DSP with FPU, which is available for performance-demanding algorithms. 2 GB DDR3-800 RAM are available as memory.

A Gigabit Ethernet interface provides fast and efficient transmission of image data. The extended software portfolio ranges from image processing libraries such as Halcon and open source software like OpenCV to a Mono compatible .NET interface. The embedded system supports a multitude of interfaces, which offers you a high level of flexibility. Besides a standard platform with a fix set of interfaces such as Ethernet, USB, and GPIOs, customers can select a combination of interfaces that perfectly matches their requirements.
