For Rapid System Monitoring and Fault Location

The new STAUFF® test and measuring equipment for hydraulic systems enables the user to find out quickly and reliably whether "his" hydraulics are in perfect working order. With series PPC Hydraulic Testers all relevant parameters of the hydraulic system, for example pressure, differential pressure, temperature, flow rate and efficiency, can be measured, stored and processed.

Despite their compact construction, these convenient devices provide numerous programming functions and a large internal memory capacity. This is a prerequisite for a wide variety of measuring and analysis procedures such as, e.g. long-time measurements or trigger functions, and also permits the recording and processing of data from external sensors.

In the larger series of equipment there is a choice of three models that differ in the size of their integrated data memories (60,000 to 250,000 measuring points) and in the number of sensor inputs (3, 4 and 6). The ergonomically designed casing with an easy-to-read display ensures convenience of use, even under difficult ambient conditions. Adjustment to specific requirements does not call for any complicated programming procedures.

The automatic sensor recognition feature is very useful: with it the new measuring devices and their sensory mechanisms are quickly and easily adjusted to the individual conditions. Other sensors can also be used without difficulty. The determined values can be called up via printer or transferred to a PC via a digital port (RS 232 - Interface). The software included in the scope of supply is Windows-compatible and allows numerous analysis variants.

The PPC hand-held measuring devices to be presented by STAUFF® at the Hanover Trade Fair 2005 are designed for use under rough conditions (type of protection IP 54) and wherever there is limited space. As a result, they are ideal in the world of construction machinery.

The smaller PPC 04 series has been completely modified. The new version has a two-piece display and can therefore show two connected sensors simultaneously. Whereas the equipment was formerly coupled to sensors that could only be connected to the PPC 04, the new generation can access the entire range of the larger PPC 12 series. As a result, the available sensors can be used for much more varied applications.
