The DX9100 features 16 looping video inputs with variable recording rates from 7.5 images per second (ips) to 30 ips per camera. Internal storage options range from 500GB to 1.5TB. Multiple DX9100 recorders and DX9100 viewstations can be linked over a local area network (LAN) or wide area network (WAN), controlling thousands of cameras to be recorded and viewed simultaneously.
Recording options include event-based recording a result of internal video motion detection or an alarm condition maximizing hard disk usage by minimizing storage requirements, or continuous 24/7 recording for uninterrupted coverage. Continuous recording or event-based recording can be programmed individually for each camera with daily schedules enabling maximum flexibility. When integrated with Pelcos award-winning matrix switchers, failsafe recording can be achieved through the DX9100VS Viewstations advanced DVR Management application and an additional DX9100 recorder.
The DX9100 is also fully compatible with the DX9000 series of DVRs. Multiple DX9100VS viewstations can be distributed across a network to accommodate viewing of live or recorded video from either the DX9000 or DX9100. Efficient video compression results in low bandwidth requirements on the network, which allows video to be distributed to many locations around the corner, around the country, or around the world. Viewstation language support is now available for English, French, German, Italian, Polish, Portuguese, Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Spanish.
