MaxxVision presents new GigE Vision Cameras from its partner Crevis with the new feature ‘Trigger over Ethernet’.
In addition to PoE (Power over Ethernet), the two new Sony CCD based 5 MP cameras HV-B550G (monochrome version) and HV-C550G (color version) also comprehend ToE (Trigger over Ethernet) functionality.
ToE, which is a completely new feature for the machine vision market, allows customers to transmit not only power and image data (as known from PoE), but also hardware trigger signals over one single standard ethernet cable (up to 100 m distance). Thus the Hirose cable usually used for triggering is no longer necessary.
The two cameras are part of the new GigE Vision camera line up from Crevis consisting of 15 monochrome and color models with resolutions from VGA to 5 MP. Their frame rates range from 14 to 120 fps.
Crevis GigE cameras are all based on Sony CCD – besides two low cost 5 MP models which incorporate Aptina CMOS sensors.
MaxxVision exclusively distributes the cameras in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
