By concentrating on the essentials, JUMO GmbH & Co KG, Fulda, Germany, has developed a functional and economical series of devices for application in a wide range of industrial sectors.
Since their introduction at the beginning of this year, the JUMO ecoTRANS Lf01 (with transmitter output only) and the JUMO ecoTRANS Lf02 (switching output only) have been in service in tough industrial applications.
Now the JUMO ecoTRANS Lf03 has been added to this line-up.
Common features of these devices are the method of mounting and the functions that have been integrated.
Combined, these features provide a well-matched functionality for use in general water engineering, such as in monitoring reverse-osmosis or in ion-exchange plant, flushing baths and cooling water applications.
Operating and configuration of the JUMO ecoTRANS Lf03 can be performed through the keypad and the integrated LC display.
Alternatively, this can be done with the setup program that is available.
With the setup program you can also print out the configuration data, thus making it easier to create the increasingly important system and plant documentation.
Conductivity measurement covers the range from
0 1µS / cm, using a cell with a cell constant K = 0.01
1 / cm (for ultra pure water) up to 0 200mS / cm, using a cell with a cell constant K = 10.0 1 / cm.
Pt100 / Pt1000 resistance thermometers or PTC / NTC sensors can be used as temperature probes.
