Stage Control

Using the stage control handle on the Nikon i-series microscopes, operators can move the specimen stage through the full range of its X/Y travel without ever having to move their hands. And, since the stage handle is height and tension adjustable, it can be used with the forearm and hand resting comfortably on the bench top. The stage handle and the fine focus knob are ideally positioned in relation to one another, enabling smooth and strain free operation, even under repetitive and strenuous adjustment. The 50i & 55i offer a quick-slide change and refocus stage. The stage can be lowered to a fixed position using a lever. Once the slide has been changed and oiled if necessary, it can be returned to its former focus position with a single push of a button.
