Card used with different identifaction features

It can be achieved simply by using a single card based on touchless VARIfree® transponder technology, designed to integrate with system technologies and security levels, replacing the many different means of identification existing ( e.g. keys, time, recording cards and access IDs).


Minimized administrative expense

With this card users are able to operate both network free (offline) locking systems (e.g. internal doors and lockers) and online control systems (e.g. reading devices for access control, personnel time recording systems and cashless payments). In this way VARIfree® can minimise the administrative burden previously caused by separate keys and cards.

Reducing the operational costs

In addition the operating costs for the locking system can be reduced dramatically. Conventional mechanical and electronic locking systems can be replaced by battery operated stand alone transponder locks that can be installed with empty memories and programmed on site. By managing his own programming and reprogramming the operator can respond extremely flexible to card loss, operational changes or staff turnover making it unnecessary to replace old locking systems or suffer long waits for deliveries of replacement locks. (Unprogrammed stock can be held)

Integration of existing technologies

One major advantage for existing buildings is that their existing magnet, barcode or chip card system can be integrated smoothly.

Integration of biometric data

As an efficient solution the card is also suitable for high security areas. With the combination of a transponder reader and biometry reader (e.g. fingerprint) it is possible to identify the card user in and quick and less expensive way. You don`t need a data bank which always includes data protection problems. The fingerprint is compared with biometric data only, recorded on the card.
