The newly improved SIGNET 8900 Multi-Parameter Controller
The Signet 8900 Multi-Channel, Multi-Parameter Controller just got better⦠now with multi-language capabilities and additional inputs. This all-in-one instrument can now accept up to six sensor inputs (versus the original four) from any of seven process parameters: flow, pH, ORP, conductivity/resistivity, temperature, pressure and level.
The modular configurability allows users to connect any sensor which features Signet's digital (S3L) technology or any other manufacturer's sensor with a
4 to 20mA output signal, thus enabling the measurement point and the controller to communicate in more than one format.
To suit the various markets we serve, Georg Fischer Signet created multi-language menu displays. Operators can now choose from six languages – English, German, French, Spanish, Italian and Portuguese. The system can be configured according to the needs of each user.
Derived measurements including difference, sum, ratio, percent recovery, percent rejection, and percent passage (BTU pending) provide even greater user versatility.
The upgraded Signet 8900 Multi-Parameter Controller was featured at the ISA Automation West in California and at the American Water Works Association Expo (AWWA) in Florida. Georg Fischer Signet will also feature this product in various PR, advertising and e-marketing campaigns throughout the year to communicate the added versatility and modularity of this already popular, feature-packed product.
