RM Display Color

Due to the modular structure of the RM Display 2401, all of its functions can be freely configured. Furthermore, the display’s housing and surface design can be flexibly adapted according to individual customer requirements.

The standard version of the display module has 8 pushable buttons and an advanced incremental dial with a solid surface. All of the CAN data supplied by active CAN nodes of a industrial machine or vehicle can be visualized with the RM Display 2401. With the RM Display 2401, the real-time images of up to 4 analog video cameras (PAL or NTSC) can be displayed either with full screen or picture–in-picture format. Additionally, all camera functions can be activated via the CAN network. The RM Display 2401 can be remotely configured from a distance of several meters by the integrated Bluetooth interface (optional).

Bluetooth technology can also be used to exchange machine or vehicle data. For the first time, the RM Display 2401 also makes it possible to combine and integrate numerous vehicle and service data into a single compact and cost-effective assembly module. Like in a real cockpit, vehicle data can be displayed in the form of virtual on-board instruments, bar graphs, and many other useful forms thanks to the brilliant colours and powerful graphics capabilities of the RM Display 2401.

In addition, numerous functions such as menus, passwords, pictograms, character fonts (even Chinese or Cyrrilian characters!) can be easily configured without any special programming ability with the RM Display Configurator software tool.

RM Display 2401 comes as a standard device, or it can also be customized to suit the specific needs of the customer on request. At present RM offers it as a configurable 5" display module (2401), and in the future will present the world its RM Display 2501 – the ‘big brother’ of the 2401 that will come equipped with a 6.5" screen and excellent contrast and brilliance control.
