The new GEMÜ 3030 mFlow now augments the GEMÜ product range for the measurement of the process variables flow rate and volume flow. The device is compact, distinguishes itself due to its intelligent functions and enables cheap, accurate measurement.
A magnetic inductive measurement principle records the flow speed without using moving parts and determines the flow rate for inert and corrosive liquids up to a minimum conductivity of 20 µS/cm. Flow speeds between 0.05 and 10m/s can be measured safely up to a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar and a maximum operating temperature of 135°C. The accuracy of factory calibrated measurement devices is 1% and better.
The GEMÜ 3030 mFlow has a serial current output of 4-20 mA and 3 relay outputs. The relays can be functionally allocated to the parameters set point, direction change and error using the menu. A 24 V/DC digital impulse output can also be allocated to a relay. The diverse availability of output signals makes automated control and monitoring in a control room as easy as pie. An RS 232 interface which can be operated directly via a browser is provided for comfortable commissioning and operation. GEMÜ 3030 mFlow is also optionally available with an infrared interface (under development) and / or a Profibus-DP interface. Flow speed and flow rate are displayed on the lit display, the physical measurement units can be selected.
The measurement device can be directly welded into a stainless steel pipeline using a low-priced weldolet. We also offer four commercially available installation adapters (fittings), thus always ensuring optimum device integration in the pipeline. The device is factory calibrated, enabling quick commissioning. For fine tuning, the device can be individually adjusted to the system on site.
