FRAP: Instant Recording after Photobleaching with New FlyMode

In FRAP experiments, FlyMode, the new control of TCS SP2 confocal system, reduces time delays between completion of the bleaching procedure and start of data acquisition to less than half a millisecond. FlyMode operates in sequential mode line by line: during fly-forward, the bleach region is illuminated with full power, and during fly-back, data are acquired at imaging conditions. Speed is a crucial factor for FRAP experiments with fast recovery processes. Ready to take off?
