pico+ So small. So crafty. The new small ones with IO-Link.

The new pico+ ultrasonic sensors are the smallest M18 sensors in the microsonic GmbH range. They have a 30 mm blind zone and a slim beam spread. Thanks to a 0.2 mm resolution even small objects can be scanned with a maximum degree of precision. This resolution is also suitable for detecting minor differences in heights.

The pico+ sensors are fitted out with the standardized microsonic teach-in procedure. Hence there are 3 operating types available:

• Sensor in reflective mode with simple detect point
• Window mode
• Two-way ultrasonic barrier with firmly fixed reflector.

These new sensors are particularly highlighted by the complete support given to the IO-Link interface. Using either an IO-Link enabled controller or an IO-Link master, the ultrasonic sensors communicate via the switched output.
pico+ sensors come in 3 ranges and 2 housing variants. In one of the housing variants the ultrasonic transducer is laterally arranged to take care of specific fitting positions.
