The next generation of the world’s best selling electron microscope is here

Hitachi’s first tabletop SEM, the TM1000, took the microscopy world by storm in 2005, and with over 1000 installations since then it has become the worlds biggest selling electron microscope. Providing the power of electron microscopy with the simplicity of a digital camera, it proved to be an invaluable tool for researchers in all aspects of science and engineering. The ability to install an affordable and easy to use electron microscope in almost any environment meant it found applications in food science, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, electronics, metallurgy, museums and even in schools.

The new TM3000 takes things further – maintaining incredible ease of use and affordability whilst adding more powerful investigative tools. Multiple accelerating voltages and imaging modes, along with magnification up to 30,000x and larger sample handling make the TM3000 an incredibly powerful microscope in it’s own right. Add to that a range of optional accessories which all feature the same ease of use of the microscope itself, and the TM3000 becomes easily the most capable tabletop SEM available.
