Filter Papers for Seed Testing

“Reliable seed testing” – this is the title of a Hahnemühle Fine Art brochure, providing information about the newest ISTA 2010 requirements regarding the use of filter papers for seed testing. The brochure also overviews the range of seed testing papers offered by Albet Lab Science. Hahnemühle’s paper production is geared to the ISTA demands (International Seed Testing Association). All the manufacturer’s seed testing papers meet the requirements of the strict international guidelines.

If required, customers receive a conformity certificate. The papers have a high absorbency due to their low density, which guarantees storage of sufficient moisture during the whole test. Despite the high absorbency of the paper, roots of the seedlings are not able to grow into the paper. The company offers several paper types for the recommended ISTA methods TP, BP and PP. The range includes pleated strips, sheets or round filters as well as colored germination papers for a better contrast.
