All safety guards in sight – with the new Evaluation Unit CES-AR-AES
AR switch chains of up to 12 devices can be evaluated with the CES-AR-AES evaluation unit. All relevant status information of the connected switches are transmitted to the evaluation unit with only two inputs. Dependingon these input signals, the four safety contacts are switched. Downstream parts of the safety circuit can be monitored via a feedback loop. The start of the system can be carried out either manually over a start button or automatically.

With altogether 14 monitoring outputs, the CES-AR-AES provides downstream control systems with information about the switching stateof every single safety switch as well as about upcoming diagnostic messages. From now on, all new safety switches CES-AR-C.2 can be connected to the evaluation unit. The advantages are obvious: The evaluation unit CES-AR-AES gives a fast status overview of every switch in the chain. A safety relay is already integrated and the wiring effort is reduced by AR technology. And apart from that, further devices with AR technology of EUCHNER can be evaluated with the CES-AR-AES by the end of 2010.
