An ekey innovation makes passwords superfluous. Thanks to ekey logon, passwords are replaced by fingerprints. A solution for companies
Both for login on the computer itself as well as for login on a website, fingerprints replace elaborate passwords. „It is thus more simple, convenient and secure to secure your computer. The user registers his fingerprint locally with the help of the ekey USB fingerprint reader or through the integrated scanner, which many of the current business notebooks feature. This scan is then encrypted and saved locally as a binary code. From then on, solely the registered user has access to his computer. The user does not log in with his password anymore, but simply, conveniently and securely with his fingerprint. If the data match those of the saved original, then within bits of seconds the user has access to his computer – the screensaver is unlocked. „ekey allows for the first time ever one to experience security on the computer“, emphasizes Mr. Keldorfer.
