Door closer for sliding doors
Modern access management plays an essential role in protecting property and assets and in helping companies and facilities, from public buildings and institutions right through to hospitals, to become more flexible in terms of organisation. Innovative access control systems enable access to the various areas to be carefully controlled and guide visitors and employees through the building on the basis of individually defined geographical and temporal access authorisations. In this way, people’s movements can be reliably and conveniently controlled and logged as they enter and pass through the building.
As far as the area of access control and building systems is concerned, one of the key highlights of the trade fair presentation is the new GEZE SecuLogic access control system. This is a compact, Web-based “all-in-one” system solution that includes every conceivable type of door component, such as the biometric fingerprint reader or the door interface with integrated authorisation management. Thus, it meets all the requirements expected of a state-of-the-art access control system. The access control system is extremely compact, measuring just 12x12 cm. This, coupled with the fact that the card reader can be seamlessly integrated into the building services (e.g. into the light switch programmes) means that architects and planners can give free reign to their creativity when designing the doors.
Biometric detection is the future of personal ID systems. GEZE can provide the SecuLogic access control system with either a biometric or a card-based identification mode, depending on requirements. It is suitable for use with both individual doors and networked door systems. Administration is extremely user-friendly, with the associated tasks being handled by the controls’ integrated Web server via a standardised browser. Consequently, detailed access plans and movement profiles can be created quickly and easily and then assigned to specific
individuals.
When used in conjunction with GEZE’s emergency exit and escape technology, the GEZE SecuLogic access control system ensures the ultimate level of personal safety within public buildings such as schools, nurseries or entertainment venues.
The new GEZE TZ 320 door control unit for safe escape and rescue routes
Rescue routes are an indispensable part of building safety and fire and personal
protection measures, particularly in large buildings. After all, in an emergency it is a
question of being able to evacuate the building in a matter of seconds. Once again,
GEZE is demonstrating its ability to provide solutions for a vast array of building
technology requirements.
The new GEZE TZ 320 door control unit is the key to ensuring safety in escape and rescue routes. It allows authorised persons to pass through a door under normal circumstances and enables available escape and rescue routes in the event of an emergency. It has been designed for medium to large buildings, companies with several buildings spread across a site, and networked buildings, as well as buildings with special requirements such as those that apply in hospitals, prisons or hotels.
With its brand new design, customisable colour scheme and compact dimensions, the GEZE TZ 320 provides an elegant complement to the building’s architecture and can be integrated into the various switch ranges. You can strike any part of the user-friendly button cover to make it release quickly and safely. The fact that any attempt to remove or fiddle with the button cover will immediately trigger an alarm means that the TZ 320 is tamper-proof.
The two-box solution, consisting of a combined emergency button/control and a keyoperated switch facilitates planning and installation whilst also reducing the amount of effort involved. From a planning perspective, additional reliability is ensured thanks to the two outputs and three outputs. Combined with innovative control technology, these enable the vast majority of applications to be catered for without the need for additional components.
The TZ 320 is user-friendly and easy to assemble, as it is supplied with a pre-assembled mounting plate that the casing can clip straight onto. As a result, it is really easy to install. GEZE’s trade fair presentation will also feature other new products from the following areas:
control and building systems, rescue route safety systems and smoke and heat extraction solutions, as well as locking technology and services.
