Sample Storage Coding System

Traxis from Micronic is a sample storage coding system designed to enhance compound traceability and retrieval. The demanding storage requirements of research laboratories in industry and academia have necessitated the development of mid-scale storage systems capable of uniquely identifying individual samples. The system comprises of a uniquely identified tube, a polypropylene tube rack, multi-piercable resealing cap and a range of specially designed readers and tube sorters to allow accurate identification and fast manipulation of the TraXis tubes. The tubes may be encrypted with up to 8.5 billion different combinations of a numerical code that provide a unique identification and radically enhanced sample storage traceability.
