Thermo Fisher Scientific announced the launch of the Thermo Scientific Hypersep Retain Polymeric Solid Phase Extraction (SPE) range. Featuring unique functionalised polymer chemistry, the products deliver high recovery levels and high reproducibility. They provide sample preparation options for a wide range of applications and provide enhanced retention for a wide range of analyte types. The product range offers benefits over silica-based SPE offerings. Fast method development can be achieved and problems associated with material drying out after conditioning are eliminated. Available are: a polar-enhanced polymer material for balanced retention of polar and non-polar compounds; cation exchange for enhanced selectivity of basic compounds and anion exchange for enhanced selectivity of acidic compounds.
