Integrated Display Solutions for FIDS/PIDS

Conrac presented its latest display and system solutions for FIDS/PIDS. At this years Passenger Terminal Expo in Paris, the internationally operating organisation with headquarters, R&D and production in Germany, showcased the largest LCD/TFT display presently available* world-wide for airport applications: 57 inch screen diagonal with a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. There are larger displays than 57 inch to be seen, but to date only preproduction samples are available, continuous supply is not guaranteed. With the real HD resolution and the large format, the 6057 PD is the ideal solution for display of flight information and advertising simultaneously, especially when choosing portrait format instead of landscape mode. Further products are 46, 40, 32 and 26 LCD/TFT displays, all supplied as monitor-only version, with integrated controller or with integrated industrial PC.In Paris all displays on the stand were presented as a complete system using the Conrac FIDS software Maxcs with the latest version of the graphical page editor as previously installed at various European and International airports. Further new features such as numerous new interfaces such as METAR (Meteorological Aviation Routine Weather Report) for real-time display of world-wide weather information have been added to the system.
