Hitachi Denshi launch 3CCD Megapixel Progressive Scan Colour Cameras

Hitachi Denshi has launched six new high-resolution colour cameras with megapixel 3CCD's and progressive scanning.

The HV-F31F, HV-F31CL, HV-F31CL-S1, HV-F22F, HV-F22CL and HV-F22CL-S1 are compact and lightweight, measuring 65 x 65 x 130 mm and weighing just 600 grams.

All six models are high resolution, have CCD's with square pixels, with excellent colour image capture, auto shading correction with six independent colour masking adjustments for accurate specific colour detection, AGC to +12dB, C lens mount, one trigger frame on demand, electronic shutter and are vibration and shock resistant. (3G vibration and 50G shock)

The HV-F31F and the HV-F31CL have 1/3" CCD's progressive scanning with 1024 (H) x 768(V) square pixels, IEEE1394 (Firewire) interface (HV-F31F) and CameraLink interface (HV-F31CL 10bit,
HV-F31CL-S1 8 bit).

The HV-F22F and the HV-F22CL have 1/2" CCD's progressive scanning with 1360 (H) x 1024(V) square pixels, IEEE1394 (Firewire) interface (HV-F22F) and CameraLink interface (HV-F22CL 10 bit,
HV-F22CL-S1 8 bit).

A number of output formats are possible in either RGB or YUV with frame rates from 7.5 to 30 frames per second and shutter speeds from 1/100,000th to 4 seconds, depending upon the selected format.
