Head-Mounted Displays for Augmented / Virtual Reality Applications

The new LE-750 microdisplay from Liteye Systems is a mobile color monitor with patented „see-through“ optics based on OLED (Organic LED) display technology. Utilizing an 800 (x3) x 600 pixel resolution, it delivers brilliant and sharp images while greatly reducing physical size. The low power consumption (< 300 mW) makes it an ideal device for mobile applications requesting compact displays such as portable data displays in Augmented (AR) or Virtual Reality (VR) applications, covered video monitors, CCD cameras and thermal imagers.

Head-Mounted Displays (HMD’s) are available with SVGA or PAL analog video interfaces. With its large Field-of-View (FOV) of 32° the LE-750 provides a big bright image equivalent to a 17“ monitor. Constructed to operate in temperature ranges from –40 °C to +65 °C it is perfect for use under extreme environmental conditions. No additional controller boxes needed.

Model options include standard HMD’s as „See-through“ (LE-750) or “Non-see-through” versions (LE-700), OEM modules, Deluxe headsets or helmet mounts, eyecups, brightness control, and others.
